We have several organized campgrounds in the area, as well as private campgrounds, unorganized campgrounds and wilderness areas.

Skihist Park on Highway 1 just north of Lytton provides both day and overnight facilities, as does Goldpan, further up the Thompson River.
Private campgrounds include Kumsheen Rafting Resort, Jade Springs Campground and Shaw Springs.

Unorganized campgrounds include the Forestry Camp Site near Botanie Lake and several camping areas in Stein Valley Nlakapamux Park.
Wilderness areas in the Nicomen Plateau, Nahatlatch Valley, Kioek Valley and other popular areas accessible by utilizing the logging roads that wind through the area.
