The Bighorn Sheep herd in the Botanie Valley frequents the area along the road. If you are lucky, you may find them grazing and be able to photograph them from the comfort of your car. |

Black Bear are common in the countryside around Lytton, but are generally wary of humans and open spaces. A lucky photographer may get a good picture. |

You can find many species of birds in the area. Bald eagles, osprey, wooly woodpeckers, pileated woodpeckers, mourning doves, grouse, StellarJays, hummingbirds, flickers and many species of hawks and owls are just a few of the birds seen here. |
